Feel like you again

Somatic maternal mental health Therapist

Helping you finally come up for a breath of fresh air

during the intense and transformative stages of parenthood.

this is not how you thought it would go

You’re just trying to keep your head above water

Growing a family is hard. You’re going through the motions, but inside your body and mind there is so much going on.

Soothing image of sunshine through leaves.

Maybe you’re a new parent hitting up against how much you have to sacrifice in parenthood. You wish someone would’ve clued you in a little on the reality. Maybe you’ve had a long journey trying to grow your family. You might be searching for any way to avoid repeating past birth experiences that were hard to process. You wonder if you will ever feel like yourself again.

Perhaps you’ve been postpartum, basically back-to-back babies, for almost a decade. You wonder if you’re cut out for this almost daily, wondering can I do this? Between the mental load, moments of rage, and mom guilt, it’s hard to even think how you’d make time for therapy. Or, maybe you feel like you’re at a loss with your older kid, and they feel like they’re still trying to figure out where they fit in anyways.

  • What would life look like if you felt seen and understood?

  • What would change if you started to believe that you are enough?

  • What if you and your loved ones discovered more meaningful connection and sense of belonging?

i want to help you get there.

Trauma therapist who is laughing and seems inviting.

hi, i’m Trina.

here we can Skip the story and start where the body is

In therapy with me, you’ll find safe space and gentle support to tune into your body as a doorway to your mind. When we start with a sensation instead of a story, we feel something different, and experience faster somatic relief. I help moms, new parents, and older kids to quiet the storm and grow into the next season with confidence.  I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you find and process experiences that are stuck in your nervous system—in ways that aren’t too much too fast, for you to finally heal. You won’t have to fit everything into words, and you’ll notice things start shifting in everyday life much faster than with only traditional talk therapy.

I believe that you already have your own answers inside you, waiting.

 They’re calling.

let’s go get them.

They have a lot to say if we listen.

working together is simple.

the process:

  1. Connect: in as soon as one business day, have a free consultation to ask any questions and help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you.

  2. Discover: how your body knows more than your mind tells you and uncover answers you’ve been dancing around with traditional talk therapy.

  3. Experience: how processing and integrating unresolved pain, stress or trauma is attached to so much in our lives (and bodies).

The most meaningful investment you can make as a parent is in yourself.
